Hal is leaving Manatee!  It has been a great experience getting to know him, playing shows, writing songs and going on tour together over these last 10 months.  Hal is a very busy dude and has to move on so Wednesday will be his last show with the band and the last show for Manatee for a little while.

Friends For Benefits recently asked us to contribute a song to a compilation CD to support HELO Magazine.  We didn’t want to include a song from our release because we wanted to offer something unique for the compliation.  We had been experimenting with stripping down some of our new songs for an “acoustic” performance and came up with the above verson of Paper Pills which is an unreleased song we have been performing live.  It was a fun experience and we recorded it ourselves in our practice space.

You can pick up the 13 song compliation for only $5 at Som Bar this Thursday.  We will be opening up the show at 6:30 so get there early and stick around for Lia Rose and Elliot Randall.
